Bioethics and Advanced Care of Companion Animals: Reflections from a Palliative Care Veterinarian Part of the Animal Matters Seminar Series presented by Tufts Center for Animals and Public Policy with Tufts Student Association for Veterinary Ethics (SAVE) Speaker: Lisa Moses, VMD, DACVIM, CVMA, Pain Medicine Service, Angell Animal Medical Center The basics of bioethics and some current ethical controversies in veterinary medicine will be discussed. Dr. Moses leads the Pain Medicine Service at Angell. Dr. Moses is board certified in internal medicine and was a senior clinician in Angell’s Emergency and Critical Care service for 12 years.
