Best Longboard Freeride Setup Guide 2020

In this video I discuss my preferred longboard set up for freeriding. The video is a bit older so I have since progressed my setup to something new. In this video I'm riding a Cantellated Tesseract with Cast Ronin Trucks 180mm and Powell Snakes 69mm. I love freeriding and this setup is a lot of fun for carving, sliding, freeriding, and downhilling. The Tesseract is light weight and has a good shape. The Ronins provide alot of lean and turning while still being stable and having a strong center. The snakes are smooth, they roll fast, they slide far, and they are controllable. I love this setup. My Tesseract got water logged because I rain skated so much and I took it to Giants Head Freeride in 2017 and it rained that year. Now I mainly ride a Rayne Genesis Deelite with Cast Rogue 180mm trucks and 74.5mm These Wheels FRF 717. Its alot of fun.
