Exclusive Interview at Mecum Auction Phoenix with Mecum CEO Dave Magers

The 2019 Mecum Auction held at State Farm Stadium was awesome. There were over 1400 cars present during the 4 day event. This video has an interview with the CEO of Mecum, Mr Dave Magers. He was a very cool guy who took valuable time out of his busy schedule to meet with me and be interviewed. Additionally, I was able to check out some amazing cars during this four-day event. There were some serious collector cars that turned heads. There were also some traditional muscle cars. Plus the occasional exotic such as the Ferrari 328B. The Mecum Auction was initially only scheduled for two days however the event sold out very quickly with a third day added. That third day sold out as well so Mecum added a fourth day. What an exciting event. I saw everything from old school muscle cars to street rods. Customs, classics, moderns. Resto-mods galore abounded the event. There were plenty of cars for sale including the beautiful ones you watched in the video. Plenty of food vendors selling their yummy food to bidders, sellers, collectors, builders and anyone else with a passion for cars and an appetite for great food. The weather was perfect for this first of many future Mecum Glendale Auctions. We met some very cool people that included bidders, sellers, vendors and others who just love great cars and the action of a Mecum Auction up close and personal. When you entered the stadium auction floor you felt as though you were walking on the red carpet at a Hollywood premier or walking up to a royal greeting. Both sides of the red carpet were lined with fabulous cars to escort you to the stage and bidding area. It was a great event for anyone even remotely interested in cars, let alone the true car enthusiast and collector that an event such as the Mecum Auctions provides.
