In todays episode! I’m attempting to paint the license plate facia on the boot lid the same colour as the body of the car. It was quite challenging to say the least. But, I got there in the end with terrible results. If you learn anything from this video, it should be to take anything you want painted to a professional, and don’t do what I did. Hope you enjoy todays video. I know what you're thinking! "why is this idiot building a crappy Honda Civic 20 years too late?". Well, to answer that question, we have to go back to the good old days of cheap Japanese cars. You know what... I'm not going to sit here and justify my reasons. I just want to. That's my reason! I love these cars. I've had 2 hatchbacks before this coupe. I absolutely loved driving them. They are so much fun. I've always wanted to build a really clean example, and now I have the means to do so (sorta). So, that's exactly what I'm going to do. In saying that. The reason I want to document the build process on YouTube, is to see if I can do it on my own, with the tools and space I have available to me. Hopefully, it will inspire others to do the same. The goal is to prove you can build a car at home with limited resources, with a little bit of determination, ingenuity, and trial and error. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy another YouTube Honda Civic build. I'll try my best not to make it the same as everyone else's. Thanks for watching!
