In memory of the great and beloved Lance Mackey. Here he is at his last Iditarod appearance. The first following it from the sideline. But he was still in the center of attention. «At least for one to ten days a year we're somebody», he says, looking back to a life as one of the greatest in dog sports and 4 time champion of the Iditarod, the famous 1000 mile long sled dog race trough the Alaskan wilderness. This year (2022) Lance Mackey have had other tough battles to fight, but he sure was engaged as an Iditarod spectator.
