Homebrew Arduino DDS VFO for Heathkit HW-101 Transceiver

Overview of my Homebrew Arduino DDS VFO for the Heath HW-101 Transceiver. No HW-101 modifications are required. The VFO system (Hardware & Software) works, however there remain many areas for improvement. The Arduino code, especially, is buggy & still rough due to my hack-away modifications to the excellent original Ross Keatinge (theladderline.com) base code. That said, I think a few brave experimenters may find the overall project useful as a starting point in improving the usability & extending the life of the venerable HW-101 transceiver. This project is a bit complex & probably not well suited for beginners. In my opinion it should be tackled by folks with some medium level experience in homebrewing electronic gadgets. On the coding (Arduino) side however, I’m sure there are lots of folks out there far more capable than what I achieved hacking the base code and they hopefully can make significant improvements.
