To increase the chances of getting a monster bone+, i recommend capturing the Daimyo Hermitaur. Daimyo Hermitaur rages when you see white bubbles foaming in its mouth and also deals increased damage. When a Daimyo Hermitaur is weak, it foams purple bubbles instead and that is the sign that it can be captured.
