FDNY Gun Hill Gang responds to and operates at Box 3612

While still at quarters of FDNY Engine 62 and Ladder 32, the Gun Hill Gang, at 3431 White Plains Road, we see the house get toned out first due to Box 3612 for a fire in a commercial bakery just down the street at 3310 White Plains Road between Rosewood Street and Bartholdi Street. Apparently, an outlet shorted out in the back office of a bakery, which caught some of the office on fire. Luckily, the owner of the bakery was able to put some water on the fire before the FDNY got there, but line was stretched and charged and put into use. As Engine 62 goes down White Plains Road, smoke can be seen on the left side of the road, to show proximity of the call to the firehouse. Engine 38 and Engine 79 were second and third due engine respectively, with Engine 63 replacing Engine 79 once they became available. Tower Ladder 51 was 2nd due truck. Battalion 15 was the sole Chief on the Box. The call remained 3 and 2, due to it not being terribly severe, and everything was under control after about 15 minutes. All companies took up shortly thereafter. Engine 62 is a 2016 KME Severe Service Predator. Ladder 32 is a brand new 2022 Seagrave Attacker with a 100-foot rear-mount stick.
