Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is the direct sequel to the first film in the franchise. Her decision ends up reawakening the supernatural forces that haunted the place's past. As old horrors return, the plot delves deeper into the origins of Freddy and the pizzeria, bringing the Puppet and the Withered animatronics as new threats, alongside figures already familiar to the audience. Matthew Lillard returns as William Afton through disturbing flashbacks, revealing even darker layers of the family's history and the nightmare that surrounds the franchise.
