The Impact Crater in Iowa; Manson Crater

One of the largest impact craters in the United States is located not too far from the town of Manson in Iowa. Known as Manson Crater, this ancient impact crater is partially responsible for the clean water supply in this section of the state. It originated a mere 74.1 million years ago when a massive asteroid collided with the planet at a high speed. This video will discuss this impact crater and the effects it hard on the area's soft vs hard water distribution.
