Try out this Beef Chana Pulao and share your feedback with us. #Peshawaribeefpualo #beefchanapulao #Bakraeidrecipes Peshawari Beef Pulao Ingredients for Stock: Beef 1 kg Beef fat 300 g Onion (sliced) 1 cup Tomatoes (sliced) 1 cup Ginger pods 1/4 cup Garlic pods 3-4 Red chili flakes 3 tbsp Coriander seeds (crushed) 3 tbsp Salt 1 tbsp Black cardamom 3-4 Star anise 3-4 Green cardamom 4-5 Bay leaves 2 Water 2 liters Ingredients for Peshawari Beef Pulao: Oil 1/2 cup Onion (sliced) 1 cup Green cardamom 6-7 Star anise 2 White chickpeas (boiled) 2 cups Raisins 1/2 cup Salt 1 tbsp Prepared stock 5 cups Prepared beef Soaked rice 3 cups Directions for Stock Preparation: 1. In a pot add beef, beef fat, onion, tomatoes, ginger pods, garlic pods, red chili flakes, coriander seeds crushed, salt, black cardamom, star anise, green cardamom, bay leaves, water and bring it to a boil. 2. Cover and cook for 3-4 hours over medium low flame. Remove the lid after 1 hour of cooking and stir it well. cover and again and complete the remaining time of cooking. 3. Remove the beef from the stock and set aside. Reserve the stock for later use. Directions for Peshawari Beef Pulao Preparation: 4. In a pot heat oil and add onion, green cardamom, star anise. Cook until onion starts to turn brown. 5. Add white chickpeas, raisins, salt and mix it well. 6. Add prepared stock and bring it to a boil. 7. Add prepared beef and cook for 3-4 mins. 8. Now add soaked rice and cook until 80% water has been absorbed. 9. Cover and steam over low flame for 10-15 mins. 10. Your Peshawari Beef Pulao is ready. Serve and enjoy. Preparation time: 15-20 mins Cooking time: 4-5 hours Serving: 4-6
