Race to World First Day 10 Recap: Mug'zee Begins

Mug'zee is here! The Race to World First is heating up, with both Liquid and Echo entering the second phase of Mug'zee, and this boss looks brutal! The healing check is nasty, the mechanics are very difficult both conceptually and in terms of execution, and the dps check at the end of the fight demands everyone survive an incredibly dangerous couple of minutes! Depending on how long Mug'zee takes, we may be looking at the third reset coming into play, and with it the massive power spike of a new Spark, catalyst charge, and 3% raid buff in addition to the usual weekly reset stuff. Historically, even if this boss goes down quickly and then Gallywix is fairly quick, this is going to be one of the longest Races to World First, and if both are hard it could rival even Sepulcher in that third reset! Tomorrow is a pivotal day in the Race, with us likely moving into the phase where both guilds wake up behind but go to sleep ahead - if this stops being true for either guild it could be an omen of how the race is moving.
