Western Ambience Overhaul is a mod created by myself. The aim of the project is to completely overhaul the entire Ambient soundtrack for Fallout New Vegas with something different. The base game music is really good, however it's nice to mix things up now and again. Unlike most other music mods that simply just replace the music files, this mod changes the music triggers so that unique locations have their own music. Install this ontop of the main file The majority of the music in this mod are tracks taken from other games, however there are a few select songs taken from the following. F.A.Q Q: Do i need to use all the Esp files? A: No, i included a merged version. The other ESP files are there encase you encounter issue's with the merged version. Q: Do i need to use the Esp? A: Yes and No, the esp changes where certain music plays and it also adds new audio triggers, so not using the esp will mean you miss out on some tracks. However all of the vanilla music files have been replaced so not using the esp is still viable. Q: I'm still hearing some vanilla tracks, is that supposed to happen? A: No it isn't, there is an issue i encountered with the INC tracks where it wouldn't play any music if i changed them from vanilla, however installing via Mod Organiser fixes this where as using NMM or installing manually will prevent them from playing. I've never really managed to find a work around for this. If anyone knows any possible fixes please contact me via discord (link below) Q: My INC tracks keep looping and it's annoying. How do i fix? A: You can stop the problem by settings the following in your Ini files. [Audio] iAudioCacheSize=2048 iMaxSizeForCachedSound=256 These are default settings.
