Project Gotham Racing 3 came out on Xbox 360 in 2005, but it still feels fresh and exciting to play thanks to its varied, well-structured gameplay, satisfying arcade-style handling and solid presentation. In a world where heavy-duty sims and open-world "content games" are the norm for the racing genre, its breezy but challenging nature is refreshing to return to.
