The initial da‘wah efforts were primarily centered around Masjid Kapitan Keling, mainly by guiding non-Muslim tourists around this historic mosque, the second oldest in Penang. The mosque’s minaret continues to serve as an Islamic information center with the support of the mosque committee. With the help of local donors, IPSI’s financial standing grew from a humble beginning and continues to grow (Alhamdulillah) to support the ever-expanding scope of da‘wah activities. The ummah has consistently shown great enthusiasm in supporting IPSI’s efforts, in the name of Allah, to spread His Divine Message.
