Before setting sail for Germany, there’s still plenty to do—routine maintenance, last-minute preparations, and one unexpectedly tricky challenge: lowering the light pole on our steel trawler. What seemed like a simple task quickly turned into a real test of problem-solving and determination. Join us as we tackle the final hurdles and make Flying Coney shipshape for the journey ahead! Flying Coney is an 82-foot historic steel ship that we are restoring to her former glory as a beautiful sailing vessel.
