I hope they can see beyond their prejudices and recognize his true worth. When my friend discovered she was pregnant, her parents kicked her out. Her boyfriend reacted terribly, saying he never loved her. She was nearly homeless until her ex’s best friend, an angel in disguise, offered her a place to stay and protected her and her baby from her ex. At my cousin’s new school, her teacher judged her because of how she dresses, assuming she was a bad person. Meanwhile, the seemingly perfect popular girl had her own secrets. She’s determined to show everyone that appearances can be deceiving. Being a tall girl has always been challenging for another friend of mine, especially with the bullying and discrimination from her boyfriend’s family. They judged her for her height, but eventually, she learned to stand tall and prove them wrong. These experiences have taught me to look beyond the surface.
