Dresden Freiberger Straße railway station is a suburban rail stop located west of Dresden’s historic city centre in the capital of Saxony, Germany. It sits on the main east–west railway corridor that connects Dresden with other parts of Saxony and the wider German rail network. The station primarily serves local and regional passenger services and functions as an important access point for nearby residential, commercial, and retail areas. The station is situated close to the Freiberger Straße thoroughfare, from which it takes its name, and lies within walking distance of major developments such as the World Trade Center Dresden and several office complexes. Its location places it between Dresden Hauptbahnhof and Dresden Mitte, making it part of a dense inner-city rail section that handles a high volume of commuter traffic.
