At 10h am this morning the Peel Regional Police announced the seizure of illicit drugs worth a total of twelve million dollars at their head office at 7150 Mississauga Road. In this press conference, Detective Sergeant Chris Fiore from the PRP's Specialized Enforcement Bureau can be heard giving details about the case. The large quantity of drugs sealed in safe authorities bags and containers was displayed for the media while a press conference was organized by the PRP corporate communication department. The major takedown comes after a secret operation was initiated by PRP's drug unit a little over a year ago targeting traffickers and their storage methods in the Peel Region in Brampton and Mississauga, Ontario, Canada but also in other parts of the Province. Police proceeded to arrest and charge these people in relation to their offence: Quang-Thai Ho - Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x 3 Quang-Bin Ho - Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x 3 Phi Ho - Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x 7 and Breach of Recognizance x 2 Iman Pazirandeh - Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x 3 and Possession of a Controlled Substance Following the impressive $12M bust thanks to the relentless work done by investigators over the past 12 months that has concluded with the arrest of the four individuals, this array of several chemical illegal drugs has been taken off the streets: Benzimidazol Isotonitazene - 40kg MDMA - 16kg Methamphetamine - 13kg Xanax - 10kg Cocaine - 3kg Isotonitazene is a derivative of the synthetic opioid Benzimidazol which has a similarly level of potency and effect as fentanyl. In a timeline originating in June 2021 we learned that the main focus of the bust where most of the hard drugs were found was at a storage facility in the Concord sector of the city of Vaughan, then ensued the seizure of MDMA, cocaine and methamphetamine in Etobicoke, with an additional amount of MDMA found in Kleinburg and finally xanax, psilocybin and twenty thousand dollars in cash found in North York. www.the4kguy.com twitter.com/the4kguy / the4kguy facebook.com/the4kguy instagram.com/the4kguy
