When performing Laparoscopic tubal ligation, laprocator is the main instrument used which is inserted through the outside sheath, and manipulated for the ligation procedure Laparoscopic tubal ligation is a quick procedure requiring less than 15 mins in expert hands It requires very short hospital stay and the patient is kept on a day care basis for observation. It is usually performed through single puncture technique in camps entering the peritoneal cavity through direct trocar puncture.
