The Macintosh II line was introduced by Apple in 1987, and it was really cutting edge and really great... but also super expensive. With that first Mac II, there was a gorgeous 13" color monitor to go with it. Then we have this monitor -- it's 12", it's monochrome and it looks just like the color monitor... but why did Apple release such a thing for this great new color computer?
