The need of transporting goods in the winter turned the Arlberg into the cradle of the modern alpine skiing. Ski Arlberg, with its 305km of slopes, is Austria’s biggest interconnected ski area and among the largest in the world. One of its perfectly groomed slopes leads directly to the 4-star superior Hotel Goldener Berg, which is renowned for its high end cuisine, using organic and local products wherever possible. The famous White Ring encompasses a number of slopes and lifts, leading you across 22km to some of the best places in the entire ski resort.
