Custom 15" powered subwoofer (jack of all trades!)

This design idea is to incorporate all good things into one...a hybrid of sorts. Car audio, home audio, professional audio, portability, and GREAT bass sound with plenty of power (surprisingly). I demonstrate this subwoofer thumping at the end! Hard to believe that Dayton Audio plate amplifier is only rated for 300w (at 4 ohms). It performs like it has twice that power and is wired for 2-ohms even though it is NOT rated for 2-ohms. I wonder why? It thumps hard and shakes the whole garage. What do you think?
