VIDEO DESCRIPTION: Greetings all! In this video we have some F train action along the IND Culver Line at Bay Parkway, with the Nostalgic BMT AB Standard train. This station is served by the (F) train at all times and the F express train during peak hours. The F train is an NYC subway route that operates between Jamaica-179th Street in Queens and Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue in Brooklyn. It's emblem is colored in Orange to represent the IND 6th Avenue line. The F train runs local under 6th Avenue in Manhattan and express under Queens Blvd in Queens. "On June 15th, 1923, the Brooklyn-Manhattan Transit Company (BMT) took over the assets and operations of the bankrupt Brooklyn Rapid Transit Company (BRT). The BRT, which had been incorporated in 1896, was a holding company formed to acquire and consolidate transit lines in Brooklyn, Queens, and New York City. The BRT acquired dozens of surface and rapid transit operators in that territory, including the Sea Beach Railway, the Brooklyn Elevated Railroad, and the Kings County Elevated Railroad.
