Waste Connections of Haltom City, TX runs 15 automated side loaders through select contract cities in Tarrant and Johnson County. With the yard located right next door, it's been something I've always wanted to put on the map for a while now. The yard has had some interesting history: constructed in 2003 as an IESI yard, going through the mergers, losing 11 trucks in a 2020 electrical fire (including both Curroto Cans), and "accidentally" purchasing some ZRs. As of November 2025, this yard has automated contracts for Haltom City (Garbage), Sansom Park (Garbage), Joshua (Garbage), Burleson (Recycle), and Crowley (which went fully automated in June of this year). The cart variety is extremely impressive in all of their contracts, with residents owning carts from the past mergers, as well as from Fort Worth, Denton, CWD, and RS. You'll notice ASLs collecting these personal carts (if possible) in an effort to help out bulk crews, which in Haltom runs every trash day. 0:00 Intro Montage 0:42 McNeilus ZRs This yard has 11 of them, 1 being the only CNG ASL (100431 - a transfer from Tampa, FL), 1 520 with a hopper cover (not filmed, 100416 - a transfer from Greenville, TX), 5 other Peterbilt 520s, and 4 Mack LRs. 25:10 Labrie Automizers This yard has 2 of them - both LRs. 110006, a recent transfer from Waxahachie (or Midlothian.. same yard, different names) as a spare truck for John. His main Automizer, 100438, was down for continuous repairs and is now back in service. Coincidentally, John was a former Knight Waste employee! 47:11 Heil DP Pythons This yard has 2 of them, originally 4. The two are also LRs, with 100447 lid-flipping much more than 100444 (447 did not want to be filmed, but Team Texas filmed it last December). A huge thank you to John, Israel, Jesse, Victor, and the other drivers who let me film! This yard is extremely chill, and I'm looking forward to filming the rear-load crews real soon. Operator: Waste Connections Date Filmed: September, October & November 2025 Location: Burleson, Haltom City & Crowley, TX
