Congress begins 2027 poll prep, shuts doors on defectors

The Congress party will not take back defectors who betrayed the party, GPCC president Amit Patkar has said. Patkar said that discussions have already been held with the Congress central committee and preparations for the 2027 Goa Legislative Assembly elections have begun. He added that the party is focusing on early planning and groundwork to strengthen its position ahead of the polls.
