My Review of the Redcat Racing - Shredder XTE v2

This was the first RC car that I ever bought for myself. Seemed only right to be the first car I ever post a review on. I have since purchased a few more cars but not until after purchasing a second shredder. I really enjoyed it that much. It allows friends and family to enjoy the hobby with me without breaking the bank or providing too much risk as none of my other cars are as easy to drive. The truck wont take you to the moon or do backflips like my talion but it is sure to provide a lot of fun to anyone just starting out in the hobby. On 4s with stock gearing, minus the upgraded steel spur gear, the truck tops out around 40 MPH. This can be pushed up to around 55 - 65 with heat becoming a concern but can be managed with fans and a watchful eye. the Motor mount limits changes to can size but pinions can get up to around 30T.
