In this week's photography tutorial I take the OM Systems (Olympus) OM-3 for a POV photowalk around Lisbon in Portugal. I show what images catch my eye, how I wait for the right moment in my street photography and how I switch between black and white and colour to make the most of each scene. The images shown in this video are a mixture of straight-out-of-camera jpegs and edited raw files. The camera's black and white profile has a lovely filmic look with lots of grain but the jpegs don't have as much dynamic range, so sometimes I did a black and white conversion from the raw file to give me more scope to rescue highlights. The Smallrig bar seen beneath the camera is simply how I film these POV videos -- it has nothing to do with the camera itself and isn't a stabiliser/gimbal of any kind. The camera itself is nice to shoot with and I loved using the 8-25mm f/4 lens to get a wide angle perspective on many of my scenes. Let me know if you're interested in seeing more from this camera. Or if you're interested in buying the camera, OM Systems are currently offering cashback if you buy before Jan 6: https://serv.linkster.co/r/WBwjWs2WNg Want more photography videos?
