AFP Beirut Bureau Chief Jean-Marc Mojon says much of the anger over the explosions in Beirut has been directed at the government for political corruption and incompetence. The series of explosions in Lebanon’s capital city Beirut have reportedly killed more than 100 people and injured thousands more. “Everybody’s already saying this kind of incident cannot happen in a country that is well run,” Mr Mojon told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “There are clearly a lot of procedures that haven’t been followed by the customs and the port authorities.” Image: AP
