Benjamin Alfred "Bennie" Washam (1915–1984) was an American animator who is best known for working at Warner bros. under the direction of Chuck Jones. After the movie "Gay Purr-ee", Jones was fired from Warner bros. leading him, Ben Washam and the rest of jones' staff to work at MGM on made-for-television specials like "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" and several Tom and Jerry shorts for theaters. Washam's animation is full of weight and appeal (like Ken Harris), but the facial expressions, poses and whenever a scene that requires dialogue is more angular and fluid. Special Thanks to Eric Goldberg, Steven Hartley and Josh Heinen for some of the identifications of Ben Washam. Check out Steven Hartley's blogpost http://likelylooneymostlymerrie.blogs...
