In a translation that has managed to grasp all the subtle nuances of bhakti and shakti, devotion and power, as Tulsidas perceived them, gifted poet Vikram Seth has achieved the near-impossible and handed the readers a joyful and flawless translation of Hanuman Chalisa from the original Awadhi into English.
