So, I went on to the Target site to buy pants. Yes, I buy pants from Target...IYKYK. Trust me. They were out of stock, because the secret is out. However, not all was lost. Thanks to snooping algorithms that analyze each search term, I was advertised a Hex Mods RC Truck at the top of the site as an item they believed might interest me... In purple. 😍 It's hard to deny purple as an epic color to grab attention on any tuner vehicle, and this one did a good job. It's not a crazy metallic, or candy purple...just a plain satin purple molded hard plastic, and it totally works. I clicked the link, read the description and added to cart. It must be a pretty popular little truck, because the closest 3 locations had none in stock. After I located one in stock in the area, I popped a straw in my yoo-hoo and was on a quick run to go pick up my new toy. Watch as I unbox, look through what's included, and start the mod process. Ending with a test drive, some uncontrolled accidental drifting, a slo-mo crash into a camera man (don't worry, the truck is fine), and a big 'ol smile on my face! Helpful Tip: Work on this truck over a mat, or a surface that will catch screws and other smalls parts if you drop them. This truck is approximately 1/24 scale and some of the upgrade parts are pretty small. Also, it helps greatly to have an alternate screwdriver. The one included is very small, but don't lose it or put it away. It is required to remove the wheel nuts using the back of the handle.
