Burkina Faso strengthens its national security forces under the leadership of Captain Ibrahim Traoré. More than 2,000 police students from the 76th promotion of the National Police Academy have officially been presented to the national flag after successfully completing their basic military training. The training lasted 90 days and included more than 365 lessons, covering combat training, topography, self-defense, weapons handling, military ceremonies, and operational tactics. The recruits also underwent intense physical exercises such as endurance marches, survival training, resistance drills, and long-distance races to prepare them for real security challenges. Out of the 2,001 student police officers, all successfully validated their basic military training with impressive averages ranging from 13.14 to 17.92 out of 20. In addition, 107 municipal police students also completed the program successfully. The ceremony marks an important step in Burkina Faso’s effort to strengthen public security and improve its fight against terrorism, while preparing the next generation of officers to serve and protect the nation. Authorities say the training programs in Burkina Faso’s police academies have been adapted to match the current security and geopolitical challenges facing the country. These newly trained officers are expected to play a key role in maintaining public safety, national unity, and stability. 👉 What do you think about this major step in strengthening Burkina Faso’s security forces? 💬 Share your thoughts in the comments. ✅ Subscribe for more powerful African stories and breaking news updates. 👍 Like and share this video to spread the story.
