Carving Fiona the Arabian Horse

Fiona is a beautiful Arabian horse. She was the inspiration of this woodcarving. I carved her mainly with chainsaws out of a white pine stock (56cm diameter). This white pine was a bit smaller than i expected it, for the true horse head size. Fortunately it still turned out great . My goal was to create a natural head position with as correct anatomical proportions as possible. Horses are my passion! 🐴 Wood carving allows me to form these beautiful animals out of wood.
