Can a Professional Simracing coach really compete with todays AI-tech obsession? I decided to find out in the only way that matters: a proper on-track showdown. I took two rival drivers from the MX5 United championship, who have similar pace but very different driving styles. One was given a professional human coach (Dario). The other was given unlimited access to Trophi AI and its "MansellAI" voice coach. After two weeks of intense training, we put them head-to-head at Mid-Ohio to see who could find the best lap time. I also put the AI to the test myself at The Bend racetrack to see if it provides real value…or if the RAM market has died in vein...
