Homemade cleansers do not contain chemical additives and aggressive preservatives which are necessary in conventional products and which usually dry and irritate skin because of the harsh ingredients. Well, making a homemade foaming cleanser it's easy and does not require you too many ingredients, but the thing I most like about making homemade cosmetics it's to be able to personalize them to my personal needs. In the video tutorial I share a recipe for a rosewood facial foaming cleanser suitable for sensible and oily skins. It is fantastic as it cleanses gently, preventing acne and healing breakouts thanks to the ingredients I included in the formula: aloe vera gel, the witch-hazel, free of alcohol toner, and the essential oils of lavender, tea-tree and rose-wood, specific for oily skins. The fructose, at the indicated quantity in the formula, will act as a preservative and won't allow bacteria to develop. If you don't have or wish to add preservatives as I did in my video-tutorial (I made 100g of cleanser which will last me at least 1 month) I advise you to only make 50g of foaming cleanser. The fructose will help in preventing bacteria to develop, however don't use it for more than a couple of weeks.
