I found this at a local thrift store for $9.98. I wouldn't normally buy a Bissell or any cleaner of similar quality, but this one was cheap and almost unused. I figured that I could clean it, look at the motor, put the cleaner through some tests, and sell it for a small profit. When I disassembled it, I was shocked to see that this model actually has a nice motor in it. It's not the "tin can" motors like they use in the other models. It's a lot more efficient than those motors. It performs about the same as the 10 and 12 amp models, but it does it while consuming less power and the motor will last longer because it is of better quality. Like all of these Bissell models with this dirt separation system, it does not keep the filters clean very well at all. I cleaned the filters right before this video and they were dirty by the end of it. Even with clean filters, they are only good at getting surface debris. Another downside is that the highly cheap construction makes it feel somewhat like a toy. This cleaner was made by Suzhou Eup Electric Company. They have made models for Hoover, Dirt Devil, and others. Suzhou made a lot of cleaners for Bissell, but a lot of them have also been made by Jiangsu Midea Chunhua Electric Appliance Company.
