It's been years since we last visited. With the leaning tower in mind we awoke at half past eight and got ready. I dashed down to the laundromat to deposit our clothes from the day before as Cat got ready. We then walked over to Sri Kassim Restaurant to have a simple breakfast of Roti Canai and drinks that came to RM9.40 (approximately USD/EUR2). Our laundry was done by a quarter to ten and we hopped into BiBi bound for Teluk Intan fifteen minutes later. The drive was uneventful and we arrived at Teluk Intan an hour later. It was also our first time in many years since we were in the state of Perak. Our first destination was of course the leaning tower https://bit.ly/4kyDcUb in the centre of town. We circled around and eventually found parking nearby. We walked the short distance to the tower and took a bucket load of photos. We then walked over to CYSY Biscuit Shop and got two bagful of snacks and goodies that included: 2 x CYSY Tambun Biscuits 1 x Chicken Biscuits 1 x Laurel Flower Tea 1 x Nyonya Sesame Crisps 2 x Tau Sa Piah (Mung Bean Past Biscuits) 2 x Instant Cappucino White Coffee 1 x Sesame Biscuits 2 x Teluk Intan Fridge Magnets which eventually came to RM138.90 (approximately USD30/EUR26). We also added a couple of fridge magnets for RM12.00 (approximately USD EUR). We hopped back into BiBi and drove the short distance to our lunch destination: Anson Hainan Kopitiam. After lunch we made the return drive back to Sekinchan, where we made a pitstop at the local Maybank branch to replenish the federal reserves. We then headed back to the hotel and spent the rest of the afternoon indoors, out of the searing heat.
