Attempted Bank Robbery in Bengaluru Canara Bank An attempted robbery at a Canara Bank branch in Bengaluru has raised fresh concerns about bank security and public money safety. The incident reportedly took place around 3 AM when an unidentified miscreant tried to break into the bank premises. According to preliminary information, the suspect entered the building and even bent the internal CCTV camera downward in an attempt to avoid identification. The accused allegedly moved towards the strong room area after disabling camera angles. However, the bank’s alarm siren was triggered, forcing the intruder to flee the scene immediately. Police suspect that crucial evidence may still have been captured in other CCTV footage inside the premises. Sheshadripuram police rushed to the spot and have begun a detailed investigation. A dog squad and fingerprint experts were also deployed to gather forensic clues. Officers are currently analyzing CCTV visuals to trace the suspect’s identity and movements before and after the attempted break-in. This incident has once again highlighted the need for enhanced security systems in financial institutions.
