Sea Fishing At Redwick: A Bristol Channel Favourite!

Redwick Sea Fishing. Cod city was the nickname for this place, those were the days! One of the more popular Bristol Channel Cod Fishing marks, it has provided me with some fantastic sessions over the years, particularly during the Autumn/Winter months. This Newport Sea Fishing hotspot always used to feature in Sea Angler magazine, such was its reputation! I've also caught many other species here, including Dover Sole, Flounder, Bass, Conger Eel, Whiting and more! I usually fish off the ledges but during this session, I fished off the seawall. On its day, it can still be one of the most productive areas on the Severn Estuary! Thank you for watching, it is very much appreciated! Gareth #riverside with me
