Today we’re checking out the brand-new RadioLink RC8GS (successor to the RC6GS series) – one of the most advanced yet affordable RC radios on the market. For years, the RC6GS was a favorite in the RC speed-run and crawler community because of its insane feature set for only ~$80… but it always felt cheap in the hand, with hard plastic, clunky switches, and a fragile antenna. Now RadioLink has finally listened to feedback and redesigned the hardware with a premium feel, a 4.3” color touchscreen, stealth antenna, haptic feedback, voice prompts, and a completely new UI. They also bumped it up to 8 channels while keeping backward compatibility with old receivers. But here’s the big question: is it worth the jump from $80 to $270? In this video I’ll unbox it, show the new UI and features, and share my first impressions. Stay tuned for part two where I’ll install it in my Bronco and test it in the field. 👉 What do you think – does RadioLink finally compete with FlySky Noble, Futaba, and Spektrum?
