I attended a job fair organized by Synergy in France, and it reminded me how many of us are out here — far from home — trying to build a better life. Over 2,000 students showed up, standing in queues for hours, waiting for one chance, one opportunity. And honestly, it wasn’t easy. The language barrier, the competition, and the preference for local candidates… it’s overwhelming at times. After almost seven hours, I took the bus back home — tired, unsure, but grateful. Because this is what real life abroad looks like: full of hope, struggle, and small moments of courage.
