Most of the assembly work has already been done for you, making setup a breeze. To begin, locate the ziplock bag on the left side of the box, containing essential instructions, a magnetic screen, and a "bootleg key." Remove all the plastic, tape, and cardboard packaging from the unit. Now, take the bootleg key and use it to remove the small rubber circle on the left side of the unit. Inside this opening, you'll find a small metal prong. Use the key to push down on this prong, which will unlock the unit. Inside, you'll discover all the necessary components for setup. Remove them and also find the wooden legs inside the box. Create a clear working space, then gently lay the unit on its back. Take each threaded leg and securely screw them into the four holes located at each corner of the bottom of the unit. Ensure they are tightened properly. With the legs in place, stand the box upright and return to the box to locate the carbon filters. Open the unit once again, and you'll see two screws at the top. Easily remove these screws by hand to access the vent. This is where you'll install the two filters, with the carbon bits facing upwards. Once the filters are in place, reattach the vent and screw it back securely. Next, retrieve the magnetic screen from the ziplock bag and place it on the bottom back of the grow box. Finally, plug in the device and turn on the switch. Your Hey Abby Grow Box OG Edition is now set up and ready for the initial growing stages.
