A scenic drive from downtown Seattle, Washington, to downtown Portland, Oregon in the fall. This drive on I-5 offers a journey through the heart of the Pacific Northwest. Starting in Seattle, we leave the city's iconic skyline behind, passing through the vibrant city of Tacoma where the views are majestic. As we continue south, we drive by the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge and the lush, forested landscapes of Western Washington. Crossing into Oregon, the drive skirts along the Columbia River, with occasional glimpses of the river through breaks in the trees and bridges that offer panoramic views of this natural border. The journey ends in Portland, where the urban landscape welcomes us with its unique blend of greenery and city life, providing a fitting conclusion to this scenic interstate trip.
