In today's walk we take a long stroll from Moorgate to Baker Street. As we walk through different areas of London you will see that each neighborhood gives off very different vibes. Starting among the high rise office towers Moorgate we reach the Barbican Centre with its striking Brutalist architechture. The Barbican Centre is a performing arts centre hosting all kinds of music, film, and theatre performances. You can also see art exhibitions. After we pass under The Barbican Centre, we come to Smithfield Meat Market, a large Victorian meat market. As we pass we can see that there is lots of renovation and regeneration an the building and in the area. We next reach Chancery Lane on High Holborn and see the Staple Inn. Staple Inn is a part Tudor building dating from 1585. It is easy to spot with its Tudor building style. As our walk continues we reach join Oxford Street at Tottenham Court Road. We pass Primark Oxford Street East as well as many other big brands. After we turn off Oxford Street we head towards the imposing BT tower through the neighborhood of Fitzrovia. Our walk soon takes us to Marylebone Road passing Regents Park and the impressive architecture of the buildings in Marylebone. We see the University of Westminster and the famous Madame Tussaud's. Madame Tussaud's houses waxworks of many famous and prominent people of the past and present. Our walk comes to a close as we approach Baker Street Station.
