ABOUT THE SONG AND VIDEO The goal of my first crowdfunding campaign, which I was able to successfully complete in early September 2021, was to implement a long-cherished idea for a very special music video for my song "Your Ghost". The song is about how the gradual creeping in of everyday life with all its challenges for a relationship leads to a couple becoming more and more alienated from each other. What is the key to healthy and lasting love? The choreography and the various dance figures of contemporary dance symbolize the interplay between the longing for closeness and freedom within a relationship, between self-realization and further development as a couple, but also feelings such as loneliness, longing, powerlessness, the loss of love and the desperate attempt to rekindle love. Often one of the partners tries to fight for the relationship, to cling to the happiness of bygone times, to glorify the partner or the relationship, while the other person has already closed it internally. The wonderful Hugenottenhouse in Kassel should be mentioned as the film location, which is the ideal location for the video. A lot of love goes out to the fantastic crew, who supported me in the realization of the video and the CD with an incredible amount of passion and know-how, as well as to the more than 70 crowdfunding supporters!
