FAQ & FYI: “Is that ringworm?” No. “Is that shingles?” No. “What’s wrong with you?” I dunno, probably the same thing that’s wrong with you since you’re here watching this video. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ This was not caused by my cat licking me. This was formally diagnosed by a doctor. A dermatologist who my GP referred me to. The “dirt” under my nails is dried blood from me poking at my knee before the camera turned on, but thank you for your concern about my personal hygiene! ———————————————————— I injured my knee on a multi-day hiking trip and the wound never healed properly, even after a few months. I saw a doctor who diagnosed it as Traumatic Milia. Since it is considered an elective surgery to have them removed, he gave me the option to pay a couple hundred dollars OR remove them myself. He showed me how to do it, gave me some syringes and sent me on my way. If you’re here watching this video, there is a significant chance you’d make the same call I did. I sanitized my hands with disinfectant alcohol before, during and after. Henry is a very good boy. Support your local animal rescues! Adopt FIV+ cats, they’re just as deserving of love!
