I followed a Marketplace lead just blocks from my house (what are the odds!) and discovered a 1972 VW Squareback buried in the ground—free, with no engine, but it had a title! With the help of my wife and friends, we dug it out and got it home but it wasn’t easy. It’s the first time I’ve owned a squareback and this is going to be quite a project!
