Porsche Boxster 986 Wiring Harness & Safety Cable Removal Part 11 Of the 986 Engine Swap Project

Alright, getting closer to getting the engine out of the donor car, just a few more steps. In this part I remove the Engine safety cable, that's the cable that prevents the engine from flying into the passenger compartment in case of a heavy front end collision. Only needed to remove 2 nuts and 1 bolt. Unclip the dip stick tube from the oil and coolant filler caps, just a couple of clips holding it in. Unplugging the engine wiring harness from the ECU. Both the dip stick tube and harness wouldn't go through the respective holes and if memory serves me well these will come through when lowering the engine.
