This isn't just any legendary "Tractor"—it is currently a testbed for HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil). Seeing a 1960s icon being used for 21st-century green science is exactly what I love about the railway. We caught it stabled perfectly in the sidings right in front of the York Signaling Centre. Steam in the Station: Capturing that classic atmosphere as heritage steam power There’s nothing like the sound of steam echoing under the York roof! Non-stop movements and the heavy rumble of the ECML through York’s iconic curve." Immersed in the busy atmosphere kept the rails humming.
